SUPPORT FOR THE TRANSFORMATION TOWARDS ENVIRONMENTALLY RESPONSIBLE PRACTICES AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF GREEN SKILLS IN THE CULTURAL AND CREATIVE INDUSTRIES
The GreenCCircle project, supported by the Erasmus+ funding scheme, connects vocational education providers, higher education institutions, researchers, and entrepreneurs with the cultural and creative industries (CCI) to help them effectively respond to climate change. This is achieved through tools that promote the development of creativity, critical thinking, and entrepreneurship in the quest to find solutions for tackling climate change and building sustainable principles in the CCI.
Using the GreenCCircle Living Lab methodology, the project fosters interdisciplinary collaboration and creates a dynamic environment for experimentation and innovation. Participants engage with real-world challenges, enhancing skills essential for “surviving in the labor market,” even amidst the changes brought by green and digital transformations.
The project focuses on embedding sustainability and circular economy principles from the early stages of creative processes, aiming to transform the CCI into a driver of change and a beacon of sustainability across various sectors.
