Craftwork 4.0 All
About
Goals
European Platform for Crafts
The aim of the project is to create the first European platform entirely dedicated to professionals and organizations operating in traditional and artistic crafts. This platform will serve as a reference point for emerging artisans working in fields such as ceramics, glass, textiles, metal, leather, wood, stone, paper, embroidery, and other sectors.
Project activities
These professionals will have access to a wide range of opportunities, including:
- Mobility programs and artistic residencies;
- Participation in International Craft Academies and craft festivals;
- Showcasing their work at innovative events such as Craft Movement, Repository, and Craft Roadshow;
- Opportunities for presentation and networking.
An essential part of the platform will be the promotion of new ways to engage the public, with an emphasis on collaborative and participatory approaches that bring people closer to the world of crafts. At the same time, initiatives will be implemented to overcome cultural and geographical barriers through sharing and cooperation between different communities and countries.
This will also contribute to supporting economic growth and creating sustainable jobs in local communities while valuing traditional crafts and skills.
All information can be found on the project‘s website or on its social networks.
