Artists thousands of kilometers away found opportunities to collaborate

News

Thanks to LAB Coaching Sessions, the Virtual International Collaboration project brought together artists thousands of kilometers away. Not only the distance but also their approach to creation was different. But regular online meetings and consultations with mentors and experts made it possible to find Faize Kracheni from Austin, Texas, and Miša Hudák from Košice, the intersections of their artistic work, and the possibilities for the realization of joint media output.

If you want to know how the meetings went, the collaboration on the final work, and its installation at the City to City exhibition, watch this aftermovie.

The collaboration of these artists was realized within the framework of the Virtual International Collaboration project at the CCI, which was supported by the Slovak Arts Council from public sources. The Slovak Arts Council is the main partner of the project.
