Join the process of creation of inclusive solutions for cultural spaces and events in Košice. We will create proposals of practical steps to make culture in Košice accessible for the disadvantaged groups during the three following meetings. It is a follow-up of the Cultural plan, in which the development of community life is one of the priorities. For community life to flourish, it is essential to strengthen diversity and accessibility to cultural events in the city. The opportunities for a cultural life should be distributed evenly, no matter the age, minority, or social origin the person is. Therefore we will focus on these groups:
- Seniors
- People with disabilities
- Marginalized groups
Who is the event for?
- Cultural managers
- Artists or people from the creative industry
- Researchers
- Visitors of cultural events
- Anybody who is interested in culture and has a feeling it is not accessible to him in Košice
The events will be held in Kasárne/ Kulturpark, and we will use the Living Lab method that will guide us in the process of creating practical solutions.

12.10.: 2 pm – 5 pm

The events will take place in the OTP regime (vaccination/testing/after covid).
The event is part of the development of an action plan regarding the new Cultural Plan – cultural strategy for 2021-2027, which Košice approved in May 2021. At the same time, Košice city prepares the Program of Economic and Social Development, which should also reflect the priorities in culture.
The Living Lab Method is part of the project Deus, focused on creating an innovative educational methodology tailored to the needs of people from creative industries. The project is co-funded using the public fundings of the European Union program Erasmus+ and Košice 2.0.
